Pepperoni recipes that no one can resist

Hot peppers are not only healthy, but with their bright colors they are the perfect splash of color in every dish. These are our favorite recipes.

Stuffed peppers with rice

ingredients

  • rice or wild rice
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 500 ml vegetable bouillon

Boil the rice and then fry it with the onion and olive oil in a frying pan. Cut off the top of the peppers and deseed them. Then you fill them with the rice and pour the broth over everything. Put the lid on and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 45 minutes.

Pepperoni Soup

ingredients

  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bunch of cherry tomatoes
  • 75g crème fraîche
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • basil
  • salt and pepper

Fry the finely chopped onion in the olive oil. Deseed the peppers and cut them into small pieces. Add them to the pan and sauté them for a few minutes as well. Deglaze everything with the vegetable stock and mix in the cherry tomatoes. Let the mixture simmer on a low heat for 15 minutes and then season with salt and pepper. Add the crème fraîche and reheat. Finally, puree everything and sprinkle your finished soup with basil leaves.

Pepperoni sandwich

ingredients

  • 1 hot pepper
  • Ingredients of your choice for the filling

Halve and deseed the peppers. Top it with any ingredients, such as tuna, spinach and celery in the picture, and the healthy, quick sandwich for in between meals is ready.

Grilled pepperoni

ingredients

  • 2-3 hot peppers
  • olive oil for brushing
  • salt and pepper
  • thyme or oregano

Wash the peppers and brush them with olive oil. Depending on your taste, you can sprinkle them with different herbs such as thyme or oregano. Season with salt and pepper and grill the marinated peppers over high heat for about 10 minutes. Don’t forget to turn regularly! Potatoes or a steak go well with this.

Pepperoni wraps

ingredients

  • 1 hot pepper
  • 1 bunch of asparagus
  • 200 g enoki mushrooms
  • 1 package sliced ​​raw ham

Wash, deseed the peppers and then cut them into thin strips. Wrap them in a piece of prosciutto or thin roast beef along with asparagus and enoki mushrooms. Perfect as a snack for the aperitif.

Pepperoni Bread

ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 400 ml warm water
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 hot peppers

First, make a well in the middle of the flour and crumble in the yeast. Sprinkle with sugar and mix gently with 4 tablespoons of warm water. Then you cover the whole thing with a little flour and leave it covered for 15 minutes. Then add the salt and olive oil around the yeast. Mix everything with the remaining water using a mixer. Leave the dough in the kitchen again until it has doubled in volume. Cut the peppers into small pieces and knead them into the finished dough. Shape the bread and bake it in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for 40 minutes.

Stuffed pepperoni with egg

ingredients

  • 2 hot peppers
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper

Halve the peppers, deseed them and place them on a baking sheet. Heat the oven to 200° C and in the meantime fry the finely chopped onion and garlic clove with the olive oil. If you like, you can add other ingredients like spinach or parsley. When everything is steamed, fill it into the pepperoni. Then add a raw egg into each pepper, season with salt and pepper and place in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
